Oleksii Fishchuk

Oleksii Fishchuk is a bass/baritone, as well as an exceptional children's choir conductor in Ottawa.

He graduated from the National Music Academy in Kyiv, Ukraine, as a conductor and instructor. Having studied privately with the well-known Italian singer, Tiziana Soyat, Fishchuk performed as an actor and soloist with the Kyiv Theatre of Vocal Improvisations 'Voice of Fire' under the direction of Olha Tkachenko of "DuoZikr".

As director of the Ottawa Ukrainian Children’s Choir, with a unique blend of talent and dedication, he nurtures young voices, shaping them into harmonious gems. His passion for Ukrainian music and culture shines through every performance, making him an invaluable mentor to these aspiring singers. Under his guidance, the OUCC continues to flourish, leaving a lasting impact on both the local and Ukrainian communities in Canada.
